TECHNICAL ARTICLES THAT HAVE APPEARED IN FORD TORQUE - REFERENCE INDEX

A PLEA FOR HELP WITH TOOLS & EQUIPMENT

We need your help to track down Club tools & other equipment that are “out there” AND we want to re-establish our list of Members’ tools available for loan.

The Club has some tools & equipment which we need to locate and list. If you have  something please call Charlie Grima 0414 366 235 and let him know or email to:

oldfords @vic.chariot.net.au

1. Please help us to find any elusive tools or equipment.

2. Some time ago we regularly had, in Ford Torque, a list of tools that Members own  and are willing to lend to other Members. Every Member cannot possibly own every  tool that is needed in the restoration or maintenance of a Model A Ford. If you have  tools and you are willing to lend them please call or email Charlie as above so that he  can make a list.

3. I will start the ball rolling by offering front & rear spring spreaders. Ed.

Thursday 16th March saw fourteen members enjoy a mid week run to the Naked Racer Bar cafe in Cheltenham. The weather was perfect as we all gathered inside to peruse the menu for coffee and a light lunch. Much chatter and wandering around the magnificent displays and checking out the Indian and other motor bikes. All space is taken up with interesting items everwhere, including on  the ceiling where there were micro planes, etc. an interesting place.

Phil Bradshaw was in his element and when he returned to our table with paper work in hand it was thought he had purchased an Indian bike ,but alas it was the paper work of the very early  Indian bike that was sold for over $100k .
